Copyright And License

Copyright Notice and Licensing
5.1 Copyright

Copyright ownership and licensing arrangements for articles published in IJLAC shall be clearly stated on the journal website and on each published article.

Recommended IJLAC Policy:
Copyright remains with the authors.
  • Authors grant IJLAC a non-exclusive license to publish, reproduce, distribute, and communicate the article as part of the journal's scholarly publication.
  • Authors retain the right to reuse their work in accordance with the applicable Creative Commons license and journal policy.
5.2 Open License

IJLAC recommends the use of a Creative Commons license for open-access articles.

Recommended License:
Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)

Under CC BY 4.0, readers may share and adapt the published work provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s), a link to the license is provided, and changes are indicated.

The exact license adopted by IJLAC should be displayed clearly on the journal website and on every published article. DOAJ's transparency principles specifically recommend that licensing information be clearly stated on the website and full-text articles.
