Screaning Plagiarism

Plagiarism Screening

International Journal of Law And Collaboration (IJLAC) is committed to preventing plagiarism and other forms of academic misconduct.

All submitted manuscripts may undergo similarity screening using an appropriate plagiarism/similarity detection system.

Similarity Screening Stages
Similarity screening may be conducted at the following stages:
  • 1Before peer review
  • 2During revision
  • 3Before final publication
  • 4After publication when concerns are raised
Editorial Evaluation & Actions

A similarity report is used as an editorial screening tool and does not automatically determine whether plagiarism has occurred. The editorial team evaluates the context and source of similarities.

Possible actions include:
  • Request for clarification
  • Revision
  • Rejection
  • Editorial investigation
  • Retraction or correction after publication, where appropriate
Authors remain responsible for properly citing and attributing all sources.
